What is Notarization?
Notarization is a formal process designed to prevent fraud and ensure that the parties involved in a transaction can trust the authenticity of a document.
This process, carried out by a Notary Public, involves three key steps: vetting, certifying, and record-keeping. During notarization, the Notary Public verifies and certifies that the signatures on the document are genuine.
Notarized documents hold legal significance because a Notary Public serves as an impartial, third-party witness to the signing process.
